Stunning images whatever the mode
A 1.33 Megapixel CCD provides high resolution images. Zoom is 16x optical/320x digital for movies, 15x optical/60x digital for stills. An extra large 3.5" colour LCD offers easy image preview and menu navigation, while the Image Stabilizer and Manual Focus Ring help keep compositions pin-sharp.

Multi Architecture Camera System (MACS) ensures different recordings are sent on the optimum route for storage. For example, video recordings are sent on one route to miniDV tape, still shots on another route to SD Memory card or MultiMediaCard. The result is that whether outputting images to computer, TV or printer, image quality is never compromised.

Digital photography on your camcorder
Thanks to Simultaneous Photo Recording, the MVX150i lets you take still photographs during movie recording. With Auto Exposure Bracketing, the MVX150i takes three shots, altering exposure between the three. Auto Focus Frame Selection lets you manually choose one of three AF frames to give accurate focus on off-centre subjects.

Direct printing functionality
Canon Direct Print and Bubble Jet Direct let you obtain superb photo prints quickly and easily by connecting straight to a printer – there's no PC required.

Share your data.
Existing analogue recordings can be converted to digital format, while

USB connectivity allows for easy image transfer. In conjunction with Windows® Messenger (available on Microsoft® Windows® XP), DV Messenger lets you share digital photos and Motion JPEG clips through a computer. You can even link up with another camcorder user anywhere in the world and control the zoom, focus and playback of that person's camcorder, as well as have live conversations using your camcorders as webcams.

Every shooting situation is covered.
Super Night Mode can be activated when shooting at night, ensuring images are as the eye sees them. Black skies stay black, colours remain vivid and shadow detail isn't lost. An optional Video Flash Light can be used for both movie and still photography when flash is required. Finally, a full range of optional lens accessories will further extend your possibilities.
